The Fictionals debuted their new improv format, based upon the wildly popular Cards Against Humanity game, at Cafe Deux Soleils a few weeks ago. Apparently it went well, because they’re doing it again – and this time, there’ll be Improv Against Humanity tshirts, too!
But they need your help deciding what those tshirts will say.
Hey Fictionals fans, to help you with your last minute Christmas shopping for the comedy / Cards Against Humanity fan on your list, we’re making up some fancy new Improv Against Humanity tshirts! But we need your help!
We have three potential designs for our first set of limited-run tshirts, and we want you to help us choose which one we will make first! Here’s the deal: comment with your favoured slogan, send us a message via our FB fan page, and/or share this image with your friends on Facebook and we will choose one random winner to receive the very first shirt off of the press!
The tshirts will also be on sale at the Improv Against Humanity show at Cafe Deux Soleils on December 18th. Wearing one may not always get you laid, but we promise that it won’t give you uncontrollable gas. Good luck!
The next Improv Against Humanity show is Dec. 18 at Cafe Deux Soleils. Advance tickets are available via the Fictionals Fan Page. Get yours soon, it’ll sell out!
And don’t forget, the Fictionals present Rumble in the Jumble TONIGHT at Cafe Deux Soleils!
From the Facebook event:
15 improvisers. 3 randomized teams. 1 evening of comedy mayhem.
Throughout 2012, The Fictionals Comedy Co. have been honoured to have some of Vancouver’s top improv troupes step into the Vancouver Improv Fight Club ring at Cafe Deux Soleils. As a thank you to them and all of our fans, we’ve invited representatives from each team along with some special guests to mix-it-up in our annual Christmas special, Rumble in the Jumble!
The premise is this: each improviser’s name will be placed into a hat and three
randomized teams of five players will be drawn on the night of the battle royale. Each group will then have 15 minutes to elect a team captain, choose a team name, and to decide on an improv long-form they will perform later that evening.
The improvisers are:
Daniel Chai – The Fictionals (Host)
Graeme Duffy – Vancouver TheatreSports League
Diana Francis – Vancouver TheatreSports League
Jenn Perrin – The Fictionals / The Bobbers
Graham Myers – Second Storey Theatre
Brad Rossington – Second Storey Theatre
