Just announced: More Live at the Waldorf specials coming your way!

Six more of Vancouver’s favourite comedians will be filming Live at the Waldorf specials at the end of the month.

The specials, which will be released using the direct-to-fans model, allow the comedians to be seen as they were meant to be – no commercial breaks and no edited jokes – and it allows them to connect directly with people who are interested in their work.

Vancouver’s very own Darcy Michael made history when he became the first Canadian comic to film and release a special using this distribution method, which has been used most notably by American comedians Louis C.K. and Aziz Ansari.

In May, ten local comics – including Charlie Demers, Ivan Decker and Dylan Rhymer – filmed specials at the Waldorf Hotel for direct-to-fans release via thestandupcomedians.com. Now six more of Vancouver’s finest are set to film their own specials.

The tapings will be done in pairs, and tickets for each show are $10. The specials will cost $5 each when they are available for download. Click the links below for ticketing information.

The show schedule is as follows:

If you can’t make any of the tapings, don’t fret. You’ll be able to buy any or all of the Live at the Waldorf specials as they are released at thestandupcomedians.com.
